I played in my local symphony for 2 years. It was actually an alright job but the pay was crap. Like $80 per concert when we had 2 1/2 hour rehearsals every Monday for about two months, plus three consecutive rehearsals right before the concert, and then then the concert. That’s like $1.00/hour. Shit pay.
